Two of my blog friends, (well
Pen and I know each other in real life as our big boys are good mates), are doing
this photography challenge and as I am a joiner (FF 2010) I am giving it a shot. Nevermind that I know nothing about photography and don't even have an SLR or a DSLR!
I think it will be an interesting journey, and educational. Today I discovered how to turn the screen around on the camera so that you can see yourself in-order to take a self-portrait. There you go. Thankfully, husband didn't charge me the equivalent of a small countries GDP for this most recent tech call out.
So, without further ado, Day 1's photo:
I am 38 years old and am practically blind in my left eye (hence squinty, not quite looking in the same direction, unruly left eye). I rarely wear make-up, save for the occasional evening out! Make-up was one of my former job requirements so I am quite enjoying not wearing it now. I usually wear my hair up, but have recently been making a bit more effort to wear it long. I am trying to decide whether to cut it all off.
As the other girls are one day ahead of me, I will try and catch up and post a photo of what I am wearing today... if I can master the self-timer thingy! Starting to regret not reading the camera instruction manual now as don't think husband will appreciate another needy phone call. Wish me luck!
