I'm in garden mode and one of my 'goals' for the new year is to learn how to propagate plants from seed and cutting rather than buying everything from the nursery - it's getting so expensive (although I have informed my husband of your plant spend - house value ratio!)

Oh, and no I don't have a real tagine - I would love to cook with something so beautiful and exotic but I don't even have a gas hob and popping a tagine on the electric hotplate would look ridiculous (and it's probably just plain ineffective)! I used to use my enamelled cast iron casserole (until I set it on fire - so now it lives in the kids' backyard 'kitchen'. Now I just use a covered baking dish. I do have a great recipe though - it's from 'Campion and Curtis in the Kitchen'. The best blend of spices I've found. Happy to share if you're interested!

Hope you're having a beautiful summer!

x SarahSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14432884881847945178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3809259912539352379.post-64197126717759941762011-01-04T00:50:00.417+11:002011-01-04T00:50:00.417+11:00What gorgeous Christmas in Australia pics!
